Partial Pale Ale:
3kg of pale malt
1.5kg pale extract
500g of medium crystal malt
11l boil
American centential (~12AA)
60g 60minutes
10g 10 minutes
10g late wort hop (aroma)
Made up to 22l probably use a coopers bottle pale ale yeast
http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/ estimates a OG of 1055 and an IBU of 46....

Hi MHD,
I just ran the recipe through Qbrew, the only program I have at work.
Estimated OG 1.051 FG 1.013 Alc. 5.1
Colour 10EBC 80IBU
It's going to be quite bitter for a pale ale, You should be aiming for about 40IBU as a maximum for this style, So I'd recommend cutting back the bittering hops to about 30g for the 60 min boil (which should bring the IBU down to around 42).
Each to their own but at 80IBU, like I said it will be bitter which isn't to everyones taste. You might also like to consider using an alternative aroma / flavour hop, something like cascade if you're after an American pale ale or perhaps willamette, even tettenager which I've had good results with.
