I have one of those 'lagering' in the fridge now....I hope it's good! I don't usually wait months for a beer!

Muntons do a few. BrewCraft have a Stella kit that includes their Czech pilsner. I'm waiting on a Premium Pilsner at the moment.

Be warned. Lagering takes time and that is putting a serious strain on my love affair with drinking :?

Cheers,
Matt

Morgans Blue Mountain is good, Coopers is always good, Country Brewers Wals Lager is in a class of it's own and Cascade Golden Harvest Lager is good.

If you want a true Lager, make sure you brew with a lager yeast. Doesnt the Blue Mountain Lager come with an ale yeast, im pretty sure it does.

don't care! I use saf (whatever) now whatever I brew with!

With the lager it's saflager, with the ales it's the pink safale (some californian crap by all accounts)

My little collection of kit yeasties is growng exponentially!

I'm with Shane, only use Saf now, should sell the kit yeasts on e-bay, something like Genuine Coopers Ale yeast etc.

The best one that is commonly available would have to be (in my opinion), the coopers bavarian.

Do it with:

1kg LDM
150g crystal.
Cascade hops.
