Okay lads, here's one I can recommend, for winter at least!
I just opened one of these ones up, probably not quite ready yet...
I tried,
Morgans Ironbark Dark Ale
1kg LDME
1kg body brew
Safale.
This thing has a BIG caramel taste which, during the cold weather is quite nice. Could probably use some bittering (I was thinking some cascade or saaz) just to 'big' it up some.
I can recommend this one though, which is nice for a change!
Was stuck for recipe ideas so put this in the fermenter the other day:
Morgans Ironbark Dark Ale
Black Rock Amber Liquid Malt Extract 1.5kg
15g Willamette Hops Boiled for 10 mins
15g Cascade Hops dry hopped
Safale US-56 yeast
