Well I don't think you need anything special, the glasses don't have to be sterile

I just wash my with the rest of the dishes, I make sure I rinse off all the soap suds though.

I like the long fluted Pilsner types, but they tend to get a bit unsteady if you have had a few, you know the drum! I then revert to the humble schooner glass. On another note, i used to keep the glasses chilled in the freezer, but I found that they caused too much of a frothy head, now I chill them in the fridge.

benson, the important thing is to keep fats and oils out of them. A simple detergent in hot water should be fine, as should the dishwasher. Just don't let your woman drink milk out of them,

Benson, it is a good thing. Trust us. Be happy. Have a homebrew.

Cheers,

I am ambidextrous. if the glass is clean, icy cold and holds a schooner full at least of beer, that keeps a head then I will drink out of it........and that includes pewters as well.

BTW went to Grandsons school fete today and picked up 6 x crown lager glasses still in box for $5.00.

thought that was a bargain, beautiful glasses!

I bought 6 x Nonic Pint Glasses (you know the pub ones with the bump) for $18

Is that a decent price???

Got it from an online brew supplier - with free postage.
