You just have to time when you drink it.
I have drunk it early and got too much honey and on the other extreme after 4 months i couldn't hardly taste it. I used 600g and could barely taste it after 4 months.
I am reading this while drinking a fairly basic spicy dark ale, which was made from a Coopers dark Ale kit, 1 Kg LDM and 2 tsp cinnamon. I am thinking that some honey would balance out the natural ale bitterness and the spice from the cinamon. But I am thinking a "heavier" honey. Would you rate something like leatherbox as a bit heavier? I think yellowbox is a bit "light". Hope you know what I mean - I have had a few beers and a successful wager on the dogs! AAoooooowwwwww!!
All right, brain, you don't like me, and I don't like you, but just get me through this, and I can get back to killing you with beer. - H Simpson.
