Firstly, congrats to all on a great site.
Now (following the gratuitous feedback) for the assistance required. I just put down by 2nd ever batch on 8/7. Ingredients:
Brewcraft Munich Lager
#15 booster 1 kg
Hallertau hops
Its been at a constant 12 degrees, with OG 1038. Fermentation has almost complete (down to 1012 last night), but there is lots of sediment floating in the wort, even when I take a sample for SG reading, there is small chunks of sediment. Qns What have I done wrong, what do I do, or will it clear?
cheers
Heaps of sediment
Did you strain the mix before putting it in your vat?
did you disolve the booster properly before adding?
These are the only things i can think of with the ingredients you have used. how did you prepare it in the vat or on the stove, i usually put the booster, can of brew and 2 litres of water on the stove and gently boil for 15 minutes then half fill the fermenter with cold water before adding!!
Hope this is of some help.

I brewed this same recipe in December last year, I think there was quite a bit of sediment. If I was you I'd just leave it until it settles a bit more and then bottle it without disturbing the sediment too much. The worse-case scenario I can think of is that your first bottle will have a bit too much sediment, so what is there to worry about?
I left my fermenter in my other pants
