Also the home brew store in Mayfield, "Hunter Homebrewing" I think it's called (a few doors up from Mayfield Book Shop), sell 2nd hand long necks for 50c each if my memory holds up. Just in case Charlestown don't have enough.
You can also get plastic longnecks (Coopers brand) from most supermarkets for about 7 dollars for 15. That's if you can't find any glassies at either Charlestown or Mayfield and need bottles in a hurry.
By the way I've been to both stores and I reckon that the Mayfield shop is by far and away a better store for range of hops, grains, kits and generally all homebrewing gear. Also they gave me better advice on brewing and were more willing to have a chat about beer styles that I was after and go through any problems that I had.
Cheers,
Jay.

Didn't mean to put the Charlestown shop down in any way (I bought all my start up gear from there in fact
). I just found Mayfield had everything I was after (grains and hops especially) whereas at Charlie I was substituting ingredients through lack of choice. People should make their own opinions I spose.

ok great, thanks all for that, have been to both, and have got bottles from charlestown before, just wondering if there was anywhere i was missing out on. ive mainly used charlstown just becasue it is about 5 minutes away, but i have noticed mayfields bigger range of fresh hops and yeasts. They seem to be a specialised home brew store where charlie also does the giftware thing, thanks again for your help!!
