growing hops

Hi

where can I get hop rhizomes or seeds to grow for myself :roll: . I live near Melbourne Victoria :P

Grumpy's is taking orders right now, which have to be in by May 30th, with deliveries in July.

They can't be planted until Spring anyway.

I seem to remember that grainandgrape did rhizomes last year. Can't quite remember though.

Yep, they did. Supplied by my first cousin (once removed) Stuart Ferguson

Just to clarify, my cousin Stuart grows hops in Tasmania and supplied rhizomes to G&G this year.

I was born in Victoria, and have only spent about two weeks in Tasmania.
I left my fermenter in my other pants

I bought my rhizomes from Stuart in Tas. and they are all doing very well.
Much cheaper too.

Except for Hashie all the talk is about getting hop rhisomes.

Anybody got a success story about growing and using them?
If you have, where, what climate, what season?
I don't thing they're real successful in a vegimite jar on a qld window sill.
