hey when you say leave it at 18-20
i havent gone to a secondary yet-in my shot brew life
but i just got a small fridge for my "brewery"
the fermenter wont fit in
but bottles will
is it good to bottle and then put in fridge orkeep @ room temp after bottling?
thanks

simmer your brew enhancer for 20 mins then definatly chuck emos cascade idea into the mix. Im nursing a hangover from x-mas day courtesy of about 12 bottles of the stuff!! It was just to good to refuse. I chucked 200gm honey & 200gm of golden syrup into the simmer aswell, but go with the cascade hops dude &after bottling store them at the same temp as you brewed it at for 2weeks,(22deg)
I'm with Greg, An addition of a few Grains makes a world of difference to your beer.gregb wrote:100 to 200 grams of Crystal grain in a coffee plunger with some hot water, pour the liquid into the boil. Chuck the grains out to the chooks after this. Also another vote for the Cascade hops.
Cheers,
Greg

after exactly a day now the pale ale has grown a nice white foamy head inside the fermenter
thing is..there has not been one bubble from my airlock
i read the older threads on the forum about bad seals, and how to knoow if its fermenting (or not), but ive had 2 successful brews prior to this that both began bubbling within the first 24 hours
does it have anything to do with the brew enhancer 2? i used.
other than no bubbles, im stoked with the progress so far
why no bubbles? it s one of my favorite parts
should i play the juice louder music than usual or ...
any other ideas..

Of course they were longies, It was a long day. But my brother reminded me yesterday, about the Jim Beam small batch(the one with with the port infused in it,) and the bottle of bourban mixed with cortez's wicked ginger beer, and I started thinking It might not have been the prawns,or the ham!morgs wrote:12 longies? maybe lolTipsy wrote:12 Bottles would do it for me :)jase wrote: Im nursing a hangover from x-mas day courtesy of about 12 bottles of the stuff!!
