thanks for the great info on this site
newbie brewer with basic gear and no easy way of chilling brew (no spare fridge & on tank water which tends to be a tad warmer than town water at this time of year)
can anyone recommend any of the basic kit brews for successful brewing when the temp is high 20s?
So far I have made Canadian Blonde, Black Rock, Coopers Pale Ale & Bavarian Lager (OK I know that last one is probably a no no when its summer). all very drinkable at around 8 weeks so far.
any advice appreciated

Wrapping the fermenter in a wet towel (and keeping it wet) can drop the temperature of the thing by a couple of degrees. I'm currently playing with an ice bath fueled by ice I'm making in the kitchen freezer. I think I may have been too successful - I've got one of them down to about 16C and I think the Coopers yeasties may be wanting a jumper.
