As I understand it they differ slightly in strength. Each FU has a batch number 1,2,3 or 4. Apparently this represents the point in a batch that carton is filled with. 4 is the last of the batch. I'm a 3 man myself.

So is batch 4 the strongest coffee-wise? Why not just drink the extra strong one they have now? Off to lunch soon so will have a look.

I don't think there's one cure, but heres a funny story of one attempt that didn't work.

After a giant night out with my flatmate we came home and through my blurry mind I decided to do a bacon and egg cook up at 3 in the morning. My flatmate was obviously not as drunk as me and shook his head and went to bed. I continued to cook and can't remember much more but I obviously didn't burn the house down and managed to eat it. Next thing I remember is alarm clock and I had to get up to go to my german class that morning. Up I staggered and showered and dressed. Hopped in the car and rolled forward in the driveway about a metre, before leaping out and throwing my guts up on the front lawn, bacon rind and all. Good look for all the neighbours. End of the story is I got to my german class (shouldn't have driven in hindsight)and fell asleep in class. Was asked to leave as they were afraid I might spew up all over their carpet and then spent the rest of the day at work with a killer hangover.

Energy drinks like power ade or whatever helps me... My GF on the other hand gets HUGE hangovers and I don't think anything helps her. She's usally out of it for the day.

I believe a bad hangover is a symptom of not drinking regularly enough. The body needs to be worn down until it has no option but to push on!

If I smoke heavily its hugging the toilet the next morning for sure. Thats the only real thing ive ever linked between a bad hangover and what ive done the night before. other than drinking Holsten.

It's all about exercising the liver boys. Like a good workout at the gym is good for your heart, a regular drink keeps your liver performing at optimum levels. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it ;-)

in the mindset of the great Homer, it's all about natural selection. You're killing your weak liver cells, leaving a better crop!

From The Young Ones written by Ben Elton.

Vivian "Michael, whats a good thing for a hangover?"

Michael "Drinking heavily the night before"

I do not get a hangover on my HB or throw up!!!!

When I have commercial beers at pubs or at functions/parties, I grab a couple of powerades and drink them when I get home.

If I still have a hangover, Coke and Panadol....not both at once

Cheers

i've downed nurofen/nurofen plus before with coke and never noticed anything... i think i've got a bit of a cast iron constitution though, my flatmate can't even have nurofen on an empty stomach without feeling ill..

sorry for the off-topic :P

Like the Young Ones reference. Hi-larious show.

Aspirin is my pain killer of choice, the others don't seem to work as well.
