when you've done yours I could do with a brew room, mind you at moment in perth it would have to be smoke proof. Damn bush fires are bloody awful.

Ross drive on mate.

Looks cats.

don't forget drains, and apparently there will be kabob wagons hanging around your place pretty soon. Might want to take a piece of that action

suggestion on insulation

Post by tyrone »

If you get the sun off the surface of the panels the insulation will be much, much better.E.G.some corrigated iron or colourbond will do the job;Painted to look like the house would give a great finish to a legendary job.Going to have a go at this my self

Maybe some shade cloth would help as well.

G'Day men,
All under control, I am putting a 'tropical' roof on, and the northern wall will be protected by the fence then I intend to stand a few sheets off the wall in panel rib or maybe corrugated iron to protect the section above the fence, the southern and eastern sides should be OK, I intend to make the tropical roof also extend out over the door as a veranda to shade the western wall, I have got the A/C installed, I have built the door and door frame and have them in place though not totally screwed off yet, I hope to do a bit over easter, I have been a bit busy at the moment, (been 500Km out in the desert, 100Km out to Hermansburg (blackfella camp) and just got home from the Rock (Thats Ayers Rock! not Fu*@#$g Uluru!!) I wil send few more pics later, but I need someone to explain to me how to get my pictures onto the forum, the last two lots have been sent to Oliver and he has had to post them for me!

guys, I think looking at forum setup that Oliver has blocked the posting of pictures to help preserve bandwidth and server space. If you have a web account you can upload pic's to there and link to them to save Oliver's space or as Dogger does use an online setup. I use an online photo gallery on my server space for snaps. Check out http://photos.brodiescastle.com/index.php I can setup access for photo's but my bandwidth/ server space is also limited so snaps may not staty up for long if I got close to quota!
