yeah im using US56 yeast, am thinking of a cpa cross lcpa
for my third AG not sure of the hop additions? never tried the amarillo, sounds like a nice hop. does half a kilo of wheatmalt and half a kilo of carapils sound like too much? the beerfridge is almost free so id better get this recipe cracking

Drop the carapils, not needed with the wheat in there. Mix an equal quantity of Amarillo & cascade together & use 30gms at 15mins 10mins 5 mins & flame out - my preference would be a similar quantity dry hopped in secondary as well. Use the NB at 60 mins to adjust the biterness to your desired level.

Sounds good, I'd aim for a mash temp around 67c for an hour; I'd also use Gypsum in the mash (to aid pH adjustment and for hop utilisation) and some Irish Moss (Whirlfloc or Koppafloc - all Irish moss derivatives) for the last 10minutes of the boil.
