Hi all,
I don't have access to a good brewing calculator here and was hoping to work out the ABV for the brew I just bottled:
-Coopers Aust PA can
-2 kg BE2
-280g LDME
-Filled to 21L
-Bulk primed with 200g dex
It's been brewed/racked/cc'd for 7/7/14 days so it should be fermented fully (although I'm only using kit yeast)
Can someone please help out?
Cheers,
Tim
Can someone pls help with some calcs?

I would do the calc myself but really cant be arsed finding out what BE2 contains......
a bag of sugar with some malt waved over it?
Bookmark this link as it is very useful when doing K&K and extract. It also gives you an idea of what the FG should be.
With that 7/7/14 regime you should have a nice beer on your hands altho with 200g of dex i reckon you will have a fizzy bastard... I add 160g for a 23L batch.
Cheers

Running the figures through John palmers formula i get OG of 1059,FG 1015 to 1019 and ABV 5.56%-6.1%.I have used the brewcraft calculator and it always seems to over estimate the OG of my recipes.
