Love it....that is better, because when you search for one thing, and hit back to go back to the list of items that were located, you have to hit refresh etc...and it is a pain sometimes.

There are easy ways to avoid this annoyance.

All major browsers (Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer (as of v7)) now support tabbed browsing. You just hold down the Ctrl key when you click a link and the page opens in a new tab, meaning you don't have to hit back all the time.

Even if you're on an older version of Internet Explorer, holding down the Shift key while clicking a link opens it in a new window (as opposed to a new tab as with Ctrl+click in newer browsers).

Oliver, clicking with the middle mouse button/click wheel will open a link in a background tab in opera/firefox/IE7. sooo handy when you can go through a list of new topics and go click, click, click, click DONE

Another tip if using Firefox. When filling out forms (such as when typing in a message on this forum), you can now have it spell check as you type. Misspelt words are underlined, a little like in MS Word.

You have to install a dictionary before you can begin using this feature.

There's a list of available dictionaries here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3

The dictionary I use is the Australian English dictionary that you can install for Firefox by clicking this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... +zm+tb.xpi

it's definitely my favourite feature when it comes to tabbed browsers. it'll work on a lot of laptops too (especially those with a Synaptics touchpad and the Synaptics software installed) by tapping both buttons (left and right) at once.
