Back to the topic, no hangover this morning even after... actually have no idea how many beers.
Lost count. Lots of homebrew then another mate turned up with a slab of coopers original. Nearly polished them all off, only 6 left but it's so great to wake up the morn after and feel pretty damn good!!
Needless to say i haven't bought "the green death" for quite some time.
Im pretty sure that purchasing Green Death Has become mildly against the law, especially in the brewing ranks as your risking your health beyond the point of intervention and someone must step in and show you the errors of your ways
I have a similar head this morning Boonie and i put it down to much the same thing except i was at the footy watchingCarlton claw back from 50+ points down to get over the bombers at the M.C.G, plenty of screaming goin on there to and the odd draught went down the gullet but it was all worth it
Worst hangover of my life was last year after the last night of a conference on the Gold Coast. Spent the night drinking cheap white wine (which I wouldn't normally do, but was forced into a corner because the alternative was Crown Lager or some other dubious "beer").
We went to a bar afterwards, at which I had a beer or two, and arrived home at a fairly reasonable hour (like 1 or 2) feeling not too under the weather.
I woke up and had a shower. That's when the trouble started. Based on my very hazy memory, I spewed before leaving the room (x2), while checking out (x1), over breakfast (x3), at the airport (x2, but maybe x3) and on the plane back to Melbourne (x1).
At least I waited until we were airborne. Once on a trip back from Perth I had to drive the porcelain bus before we even took off!
Both times I was convinced I was going to die, and wouldn't really have cared if I had.
Started drinking Tooheys New at 10 one morning and made the switch to Bundy at around 10 that night. Needless to say my mind was saying not to make the switch but you know how it is ....
No spew the next day but the headache the next day and the following 3 Death was looking pretty good
Cheers,
Mick
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
