The first bottle I tried @ 2 weeks and it had a noticeable taste (not horrible....still drinkable!!) that I put down to the golden syrup...but I haven't made any other stouts to compare it to!! The 2nd bottle @ 3 weeks was sensational...that taste had mellowed alot in a week...very smooth and tasty. I think it added a richness and may have contributed to a slight burnt taste, and it definately upped the alcohol content. But as I said, I don't have anything to compare to.
Beer...beer...smurfing beer....you don't get drunk and it isn't dear!!!
