Hi All,am getting a bit bored with my current brews so thought Id try the Chimay Blue from the recipes forum.Have the white labs yeast, but am having problems finding Leabrooks straberry clover honey in SydneyCould anyone help?
Cheers Terry
Thanks fellas for the replys, have tried clover honey with good results, have toagree about eucalppts though, had to turf my last batch of yellowbox, way to much honey taste for me.Rang up Coopers and they said Leabrooks was sold 5yrs ago.Hows that for keeping up with the times? Will put the thinking cap back on
Cheers Terry
Haha nah, I was just friggin around. The yellow box is not a very strong honey, it's not like redgum or bluegum or whatever. I've used it in lots of brews with no probs at all. Wassa's Honey Porter being the most famous example. Clover is even milder though, I can hardly taste it.
