Sorry to ressurect an old thread but I thought since its about the same recipe...

I'm going to make this recipe again with some slight changes

Muntons Connoisseur Wheat Beer
1kg Dried Wheat Malt
15gm Hallertau hops at 20mins
15gm Hallertau hops at 5mins
250-500gm Lucerne Honey at flameout

I was going to use a K97 Safale yeast but I'm now wondering what liquid yeast would be good with it... I haven't used one before so I'm not sure. Would the Forbidden Fruit yeast work ok with it? Or would you recommend a different one?

Hi,

I'm very interested in doing this beer but struggling to find Muntons Connoisseur Wheat Beer locally or via the online stores I've used.

Where do you get this from in NSW?

Thanks,

Chris

You can get it from Grain and Grape online if you can't find it locally

I'm bottling one on the weekend that I've done with the Forbidden Fruit yeast, tastes great out of the fermeneter, can't wait to see how it turns out :D

After quite a bit of searching I found an online store in North Sydney who posted it today so I can brew this weekend.

I found it odd that some of the stores I frequent stock most of the Muntons Connoisseur range but not this wheat product?!?!?

Thanks,

Chris
