Dropped into the Squires for a few beers after dinner at King St. Wharf and once again loved it. I started with the Governor King, then went onto the Highwayman. Loved it. Have had it before but really enjoyed the big hoppy taste to it. Maybe better than the G.A? Does anyone know what sort of hops would go into it, would be a couple of varieties at a guess. Has anyone made something similar? If they made this a commercial beer i would stock up for sure.
Then after things were going well i thought i would try The Abbey, and what a crap beer! Not to my taste at all. I dont know why or whats in it but i couldnt even finish my pint! Anyone agree or is it just my taste?

Love the Highwayman.

Nelson Sauvin would be the main flavour in there - fantastic hop. Guessing it probably has Fuggles in there too.

The one I liked was from the Melbourne JS- the Speculator. Damn that was tasty.
