I think it's a fore-gone conclusion that the Cats will win.

Port are bogans but it will still be funny when they beat the vics.

Either way, I don't care, but it should be a good GF.

I'm with you Pale_Ale, port are a bunch of bogans. But i cant bring myself tyo support the mexicans across the border either.

But it should be a belter of a game tho, very evenly matched sides - lets just hope the weather holds out. Oh wait, its Melbourne.

If the Geelong faithful were to hang Sam Newman in town square before the match, they would have my passive support in beating the mongerels from Alberton.

As it stands, to my horror, I'd rather see Port win just to really piss Sam off.

Being a Crows supporter I hate Port with a passion and hope that they get killed by the Cats (even though I'm not a big fan of Geelong, having lived there for six years and witnessed first-hand their acceptance of mediocrity).

But I have a very, very bad feeling about this weekend.

My tip (and I hope I'm wrong) is Port by 10 or more goals. I'm serious.

Call me an idiot now, and I hope you can call me an idiot on Saturday night when the Cats have destroyed Port.

Cheers,

Oliver

I think it will be a walloping, but I think Port will be on the end of it.

Geelong by 44 Points, get on it.

I'm a Vic and I don't care either way. The Vic V SA state rivalry is dead and buried (on this side of the border anyway).

I'm tipping Port by one point. Travis Boak for the Norm Smith Medal.
"Doc, what can I do about these terrible hangovers?"
'You can stop drinking beer'
"No, seriously Doc, what can I do?"

Ok, you're an Idiot!!  :P

I can see your thought process though, when Port are on fire there is no stopping them, they just need to keep the flow going straight down the center.

However yesterday we didn't see that very much, and Geelong earned the win well and truly with a brilliant attack but even more so an absolutely rock solid defence (I think they let the least goals through for the season of any AFL team).
