Putting a Keg System together

Post by DJ »

Does anyone have a link to somewhere that may help my put my Kegs system together. (Thanks Ross by the way!!!)

Having never done, nor seen one in operation, I feel I may look at all the different pieces and ....

Or is it really really easy and I shouldnt worry?

Its really easy to do. Have a look on Aussiehomebrewer and theres a thread with pics of peoples kegging setups.

The only crucial thing is to get you beer line length right. If you have this wrong you will be pouring foam. Start off with 3metres of 5mm ID beer line and a pouring pressure of 80-100 kpa. This will give you a good steady pour.

Have a search about gassing the keg. Its really easy to do and not hard like some make it out to be.

Nice! That first beer on tap was one of the best for me.

And I really don't miss washing bottles.
