Homebrew competitions in and around Sydney

Hi guys,

This may have been covered a few times before sorry in advance if repeating

I live in Sydney and want to find out about other peoples home brews, tastings especially, so I thought comps may be where I could try others brews, are there many in sydney? or do I need to travel out a bit,
coming into summer there should be a few out there. I would even be game to enter a few brews, got a damn good oak ale at the moment
