Have been brewing for a few years now, really enjoy making and love drinking the stuff. But am sick to death of washing, sanitising, capping bottles ect.
Thinking of kegging but have heard that the beer has a limited life span in the keg.
This may be a ploblem as i like to leave my beers a while to mature.
Also how hard is it set up a keg system?

Beer doesn't die in the keg. If anything, it's the best place for it as it is an almost total CO2 environment.
And it's the best investment I ever made! I'm NEVER bottling again!
It isn't too difficult to set up, just the cost. If you want great keg info, get hold of Ross on this forum, or at craftbrewer.com.au

I drive past grumpsy every day! And i stop off most fridays on the way home and have a beer with Voosher. He and Brad have been invalauble to my growth as a brewer.
now that you have remidned me its prob time i went and had that beer now!

p.s. i was at the Grumpys Stammtisch last Friday, i think we had nearly a dozen brewers sitting around swapping our beers. Got lots of good feedback on ways to improve a few of my beers. The last bottle of my award wiining Boonies LCPA got shared around - lots of impressed faces! In fact, they thought it was better than my AG version which was a tad undercarbed. I only bottled a few...
now that you have remidned me its prob time i went and had that beer now!
