Yep. Baseball's been here for a long time. Australia just came 6th at te World Cup, and we have lots of pro players in the US.

We also won the silver medal at Athens.

Did you know that the record attendance for a baseball game was in Australia? They got over 100k people to an exhibition match at the MCG in 1956.

Sure did. Melbourne Olympics from memory. I'd love to have seen baseball on the MCG.

Back in the day Australian cricketers used to play baseball in the off season. Most slower balls bowled in cricket today came from baseball.

I thought that cricketers played AFL in the off-season?

Either way, a lot of top crickets did come from baseball- Alan Border springs to mind.

All the ones that got injured played AFL. Before professionalism so many promising cricketers careers were ended by getting injured playing AFL.
