Kev.
Check out this site for TV shows http://www.eztvefnet.it
Has torrents for the shows as soon as they come out.
Razor has already been relased and you can download a dvd rip from many torrent sites, like this one http://www.mininova.org

As for BSG, I am a bit of a fan as well. Watched the Razor telemovie last week. Its great and exactly what you would expect form the writers who write for BSG.
As for the new series coming out, well if you go to the EZTV site in the TV news section they have a link to where one of the shows producers says that the new series is not out now till April next year.

You can always check http://www.scifi.com to see when its coming out. The Razor movie comes onto TV in the US today, but as I said, its been out in illegal torrents now for a few weeks.

I download and watch a number of shows, many you don't get on TV over hear at all.
If you want a good but different cop drama start downloading K-Ville.
Have to say Californication was a good show, despite all the controversy it copped in Sydney with the religious nutbag factions.

I get my episodes from EZTV when I can. But sometimes they do not release the 720p or 1080p versions so I have to go to Mininova, TPB or Demonoid. Thanks for the tip on Razor but I think I will wait for an HDTV rip of it, DVD quality is a bit annoying :P

If anyone needs an invite for Aussietorrents or Demonoid let me know. I would like an invite to one of the HD sites that have the 1080p content on private trackers if anyone can help ;)
Prost and happy brewing!

You might be waiting a while for some shows to come out in HD rips. I give up doing that.
DVD quality is good enough if you ask me, as long as its encoded correctly anyway.
Plus all these 1080 rips are just to big in size to warrant for the xtra quality. I only get 20 gig a month. If I had to download every show in 1080 HD I would run out in a week I think!!!

Chris, I've heard that the old BSG was pretty cheesy and that the new one is a lot better. And I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but after watching the first few episodes I was hooked. 2nd and 3rd seasons weren't quite so good, but still well worth a look.

I'm glad he's actually going to finish the story and not just drag it along until the ratings drop...

Don't spend much time at all in front of the computer when downloading.
This is the 21st century, I just set it up to start downloads while I am asleep!

Task scheduler and off peak downloads are great! Plus at 22 mbit (about what I get here) I can download 60GB pretty bloody quick ;)

Your lucky. No ADSL2 around here still. Damm Telstra makes it hard for many of the ISPs to get their ADSL2 in the exchanges.
I hope Rudd Gets in this weekend to put an end to all this.

Actually I would rather see him force their hand on fibre to the node. ADSL2+ was just supposed to be a temporary thing on some major exchanges but Telstra ballsed it up like usual.

Funny enough Demonoid went down shortly after I posted that. The bloody canucks are after them again

Aussietorrents is strictly sport, cricket, footy, etc.

Also they are currently allowing free registration so anyone that loves their sport should sign up and support the scene!
