I realise as I finish this, that it is actually more than three full bottles of import beer, which you could easily pay $9 for (if you assume a 6 pack of import is about $18 ). I am half pissed and I enjoyed the beer. So I essentialy got a great stein for $4!
The can is bloody useless, the opening is way too small for a can of that size, you either have to dump it as fast as you can or it will run down the side of the can and onto the floor. (yes I do know from experience...)
I agree Chris, but I was paying for the stein, the beer was a bonus. Like I said it was drinkable, and for a cheap import with a slight aluminium taste I actually enjoyed it.
Yeah, it certainly is decieving considering I am 6'2" and 165 lbs (not sure what that is in metric). I am not a large guy but certainly not as small as the photos make me out to be!
There is something special about drinking from a 1L stein though. You just feel like you could conquer the world
I wouldn't worry about it, your BMI is 21, which is well and truly within the healthy range of 18-25. Mine is 26, which means I have to lose about 5 kilos, also thanks to the brewing (and breaking a bone).
Yeah, it's returned to full strength now, but it still has a spiky bit sticking out of it (permanently). If you look at the xrays, just imagine the bones not moving at all, but there is now a glob of bone connecting the two ends together.
My brother broke a collar bone when we were kids, he managed to break a leg and the other collar bone last month jumping 3 feet down off a house boat into a mud flat. He just landed wrong I guess. These things always seem to happen at the oddest times without any explaination. I bet if he did that jump 1000 more times he wouldn't get so much as a bump or bruise.
I insure everything because I know the second I am over confident and let slip is when something bad will happen. Maybe I am just bitter, cynical and jaded but life seems to work like that most of the time.
