Duvel clone

Post by banger »

Afternoon everybody,

I'm looking at making a Duvel clone, or at least a tasty strong Belgian ale, and wondering which kit to use. A lot of the AG recipes I've seen use pilsener malt, so would I be best to use a pilsener kit, or something different?

Try the Brewferm kits if you can get hold of them.

I got a Tripel and Framboose on special a while back and had a first tasting of the tripel last night and it was great! Otherwise, you should be able to Belgian-ise other kits. I know I've seen the Muntons pilsner kit used for a Leffe Blond clone.
