Hi guys
I have put together a bastard keg made up of leftovers from other batches.
I was going to dry hop maybe some hersbrucker for aroma by steeping in boiling water for 10 min to assist in a quick result.
Want this keg for sunday. Will I get the result im after in 2 days?
dry hopping into keg
Re: dry hopping into keg
Even without the steeping you can do it in 3 days, so 2 with steeping should be plenty. When I rack onto dry hops I usually only leave it in secondary with them for 3 days or so before I bottle or keg.

Thanks Kevnlis
Re: dry hopping into keg
Dont steep them in hot water, just chuck them in the keg. If you dont have a tea ball for the job, and mine broke, just get a piece of pantyhose. Cut it to a length big enough to hold the hops and tie up both ends and drop in the keg. I've done this before and it worked a treat. Just make sure you sanitise the pantyhose first and use the natural version rather than black.racer wrote:Hi guys

PS - pantyhose are a vital member of my brewing paraphernalia. Just like MacGyver and his magic duct tape, i couldnt live without them. Dry hop away man.
