Returning a favor

Hi guys, I need your help.
A couple of friends from Texas are sending me case of Sierra Nevada and some Shiner Bock. I really want to return the favor and am putting together a package. Tentatively: A sixer of LCPA, a sixer of JSAA, a sixer of JSGA and maybe a four pack of knappstein.
Are there any other Aussie beers that people think would be a good idea?
Would a sixer of VB for curiosity sake be a good idea?
They usually drink Shiner and guinness (though, one loves, wait for it, Toohey's!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could got the Pints of LCPA instead for novelties sake. you could send them LC Rogers instead of JSAA. but still stick with the GA and the Knappstein... they are rather unique bevvies..

if you have room you could send them a VB just to demonstrate the variety of beer that us Aussies have to endure.

Get rid of the amber ale, its mutton dressed up as lamb and not a shadow of its former self. The others are very nice but what about something from the coopers range, either a dark ale or the stout? I assume pale and sparkling are available over there as my mates have never had troubles getting it. Maybe something from the Mountain Goat range. Coopers vintage?

Duke is nice, had some on the Gold Coast.... but hard to get. Well it is hard to get around here.

A good drop, but I think there are better more unique beers in Australia. Admittedly the Golden Ale and Knappstein are probably the only two beers that have been suggested that really are fairly unique to themselves. The others are just good examples of common styles.

Did you have the new oakbank 'beer' or the older one they brewed, the sparkling ale? I had the ale and it was nice, not unlike CSA but havent tried this incarnation. Its brewed in NSW for #%% sakes. The old brewery in Oakbank is still standing but the beer is brewed under license in NSW for Pikes winery.

I was unaware of the refrigeration factor and this now concerns me rather greatly. It will be delivered as army mail. One is in the army. I have been told that army mail is the best in the world and is treated like gold.
It is certainly the unique factor I'm after, just to show them that Fosters is not, as one says the ads say "australian for beer" and of course to say thank you.

The coopers is a bloody good idea and one of the ones I forgot. I think the vintage stout is a fantastic idea!

Thanks Boonie, the pilsener was another one that slipped my mind. So many good aussie beers, it's hard to try and pick just a few. I just want to show them that there is good beer here.

The Duke, I've never tried and I think I better, lagers usually disappoint me, but I have to try before I pass them over. Most of the ideas and tastings I've tried have been from here, I can't believe I haven't tried this one.

Agreed, but as they are used to drinking good american beer, (they regard the mainstream american beer as highly as we regard vb) I want to show them some aussie style. I believe now, I have made a rod for my back. I wanted to send about a slabs worth (due to shipping costs) But, I really could get carried away here.
