Anyone used these guys before? Noticed they have hops at $5 per 100g pack and was seriously contemplating buying a few. Delivery costs?

I noticed that too but thought best not to mention it. Believe it or not that happens a lot more than people realise.

I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but hey

Appart from that i know Ross's quality is second to none and pretty much the same price ( exactly actually) i always get the 400gm packs and last time i checked they were $20 ( this could have changed as i bought enough last time to last me for a while).
I dont know maybe im just a bit old school, stick with what you know sort of bloke

P.s Chris, brush up on the maths buddy

Edit: even though chris needs to brush up on the maths i just checked out the craftbrewer website and it would seem that the hops have gone up in price considerably, last time i bought cascade for instance they were $20(as far as i can remember) for 400gm and now they are $34 for 450gms so this site would tend to be cheaper, quality well who knows but it may be worth a look

hop prices have risen considerably of late - in the UK they are now paying up to $20 for 100gms of English hops!!!
If the hops have been stored correctly, grab yourself a bargin. Just beware, that there are very few sellers commercially vacuum sealing their hops before storage & this can make a huge difference in quallity.

cheers Ross

I grabbed 5 x 100gms of various hops. I typically buy from Ross, but it's a good deal and couldn't resist!

Paid $8.75 postage I think, couriered to Bris in 2 days.

It's still a good price- even if I can't add.

Maybe 5 x 100g might be a better deal. Or just go with Ross, as I need to place an order anyway.

I'd rather pay more... least you know what quality you are getting with Ross.

I found out this morning that this website is indexing and advertising on Google, the contact information (Including full name, address, and phone number) of every person that orders something! Small price to pay for saving a few bucks?

so i see.. maynard st eh

mind you, it doesn't look like they're 'selling' that info. looks more like bad webpage coding has just left it open to googlebot sifting through it.

if i were you, i'd definitely bring it to their attention.

No sorry if it made it seem like they purposely did it, or were trying to sell the info. I realise it is probably an accident, but it has happened! I have warned them, and I only thought it right to warn you all as well. I am VERY careful not to put any of my personal details anywhere on the internet and I even pay extra money to keep myself out of the phonebook etc. Pisses me off to no end that my info is now being harvested by crawlers!
