Goon Gone Off?

Post by Kevnlis »

I picked up a few cartons of goon last night for $5 each. Catch is they are best before Feb 08

I figured... what could happen to them? They are sealed, and at 12% alcohol there is not much that could live in there anyway.

I guess it may not taste good... but it probably never did! ;)

Anyway, should I feed some to the neighbors cat first, or just go ahead and get into it?

I also noticed there has been a bit of talk about wine, and we don't have a wine forum, that might be a nice thing to add, maybe in between the GB/cider section and the spirits section?
Prost and happy brewing!

You may be right mate. I think it is only illegal to sell things that are past the "use by" date not "best before". That must be how they got away with it ;)

I am into my first glass now, if you don't hear back from me you know the result!

You had sex in the counter at maccas?

Were you an employee at the time?

Reminds me of something I did with a manager in the cool room when I worked at Burger King

Yes, I went to the shop yesterday after my sons football game and he wanted a packet of chips with the Rugby League cards in them, but they weren't available, he found a packet in a reduced items bin(normally $2.40, now $0.80), first thing I looked at was the date and was ready to get up the person behind the counter for selling old chips. Pissed off, they were BEST BEFORE 8 MAY 2008.

Talking about memories, there was nothing better in my old home town of Toowoomba than going to a party(when I was younger) and sitting/standing around sipping on a good old bottle of STONES GREEN GINGER WINE.. 8) 8)
Beautiful Stuff.

I once did a stunt at work where I refilled a 4 litre bladder with water.
I stashed it in the toilet cubicle, and waited until there were a couple of blokes hanging it out at the urinal.
I walked in behind them and said "I'm really busting for a piss".
Once in the cubicle I got the stashed bladder, and proceeded to slowly empty it into the bowl, non-stop for the next 5 minutes. It sounds just like the real thing.
I then walked out and said "I really needed that after last nights session".
