Lovin brewing in the cooler weather !

Post by Copperhead Deb »

Okay so it tis a long time ago since I popped in. Tassie is nice and cool right now, perfect for my lagers and of course I am preparing for Christmas early with Ginger Beers for gifts, these are wonderfully welcome gifts, if they make it to the wrapping stage. I love to make bocks right now too, dopplebocks especially . No thats right dont do ales....... well maybe one or two .. Rainwater, cool climate, lager yeasts you cannot go wrong, do I own a hydrometer ? 8)

Stay well folks

You're right Deb.

Here in Melbourne we're having ideal lager brewing weather too. I've also been brewing a Berliner Weisse that apparently is meant to be brewed in the mid-teens so that's been outside for the last couple of weeks.

Cheers,

Tim

Wow guys those sound like some yummy lagers, just imagine when they have conditioned over winter ready for the summer drinking, you will be very pleased with your efforts. I know thats when I go "yep that was worth the effort'
