I should have referred to it as an all-extract/specialty reduced boil
Extract with spec malt steeps is what I've moved onto for the past 12 months or so. I usually only do a 4l steep, then 2l rinse which results in a 6L boil. These brews have been far better than any K&K that I previously did.

Yep TL I go along with that. Did my second partial and increased the grain bill paid more attention to my sparging and have come up with a ripper. "beginers luck" again who knows I am not complaining. Winter conditions are ideal for brewing lagers in Tassie at the moment, have to wrap blankets around Fermenters to keep the temps up over 10-12
