newbie keg question

Post by jadk42 »

My apoloogies if this question has alreay been answered somewhere. I have some kegs with cub style fittings. I want to see if kegging is for me so I dont want to spend too much money at first -so how does this sound. I can purchase a hand pump and yap for abour $70 from the us. I brew as normal and bulk prime into the large keg. I dont understand though how I will purge.

Hand pumping 50L of beer is hard work. It will pretty much be off by the second or third day so I hope you have a lot of friends to help!
Prost and happy brewing!

As Kev said, you're going to need to drink 50L fast! Can I come over?
