Maibock

Anyone got a good maibock recipe- just a ME or partial if possible.

I was going to go something like:

4.5kg light liquid malt
300g dark crystal
20g haller for 60min
30g perle for 60min
40g haller for 20min

saf 34/70
total volume 20L

It's fine for IBU, but a bit dark in colour. I don't really want to drop or lower the amount of crystal.

Any suggestions?

Chris, your receipe sounds spot on. I only have an AG receipe for Maibock. Has only Pils(4.25kg) and dark Munich malt(2.6kg) with single decoction. Similar hops to yours too. Hope it tastes good

That sonds like a good recipe too. Wish I had the time to get an AG down!
