Thanks for the recipes for NS Lager- I made one 3 weeks ago from recipies on this board and it is an amazing beer. Now that the weather here in Bowral has warmed up I want o try a NS ale. Anyone got any recipies. Am not full grain yet so an extract or kit with additions would be a great help.

Nelson Sauvin- request for ale recipe
Re: Nelson Sauvin- request for ale recipe
David,
Go the same but use an ale yeast. Maybe add a bit of crystal for some colour. You could also search for pixelboy's passionfruit ale because that's a great drop too.
Cheers,
Tim

Re: Nelson Sauvin- request for ale recipe
I did a small boil with 1kg lme, 200gr crystal, and I think 20gr NS @20min and 15gr @2min, then added a can Coopers Pale Ale. Yeast was American Ale Yeast. Fermented at 18c about 3 weeks.
Come up a tasty drop for a quickie, I was drinking a few of them last night and I have really taken to the flavour of NS.
Cheers

Re: Nelson Sauvin- request for ale recipe
Bottled a NS ale about a month ago which turned out beautifully. Coopers euro lager kit (I think), 1.5kg extra pale liquid malt and 500g dried wheat malt + NS hops at about 15min and 0min, craftbrewer premium ale yeast. Will try to remember to bring the full details to work for posting.

Re: Nelson Sauvin- request for ale recipe
