G'day all you Taswegian Brewers...!
I'm coming down to Hobart for a few nights in the next couple of weeks and if you want to stop by the New Sydney Hotel (87 Bathurst Street) on the 3rd of December, I'll be there propping up the bar at the back! Just look for the idiot in the black "Canberra Brewers" polo shirt and come and have a chat about our glorious obsession - over a few beers, of course!

If you're free on Wednesday the 3rd, drop by, say G'day and have a beer or two with me! If the flights are on time, I should be there by about half 6...

P.S. Tell the bloke who brews the 7 Sheds Kentish Ale to stock up the pub, ok?!

By way of update, I'm sitting at an internet terminal in the Sydney Qantas club cooling my heels as the flight to Hobart is delayed!!

Yes - the quickest way to get to Hobart from Canberra is to go via Sydney!! Well that was the case before they started delaying the flight to Hobart!!!

Fortunately, I managed to get an upgrade on my ticket but that's not much good if I can't get on the damn plane, is it!! So, I hope to be at the New Sydney hotel by around 6:30pm...

Biernut and I learnt a great deal from an experienced Home Brewer as yourself. Tasmania is so limited in AG brewers, we have no clubs or comps to get feedback on our beers.so guys like you visiting us gives a chance to learn more about our great pastime...
Tip...For you guys thinking about going into AG..Please get into contact with an experienced AG brewer.Their knowledge and tips are worth heaps. If you can get a brewday organised with them, even better... it makes things sooo...much easier.
