Fridge or chest freezer?

Post by muppet »

Have a question in regards to kegs. Talking to some boys up here and they have their kegs in a standard fridge. However reading on websites it seems that people are using the chest freezer more. So which is the most prefered on this site. Fridge or Freezer. What will I need extra for the freezer.

Cheers :? :?:

If i had the cash to splash i would go a big ass deep freezer with a temp mate hooked up to it and all the taps on the top of the lid,,,

A chest freezer will use a *lot* less power.

That's a beautiful looking fridge(Freezer).... I'm in the process of making one just like it using the F&P 215L Freezer.... How did you fix the collar? add on? at the front of the freezer??? Couldnt tell from the pics. And what did you make the collar? out of???

And yes they use alot less power......also try fitting 6 kegs into a fridge.
