As I've noted many times before, Bud and the company that makes it are evil. This is further proof.

Eeeeeeew indeed.

To quote part of the article:

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Brewer Anheuser-Busch says it will introduce a caffeinated, sweet-flavored beer for twentysomething club goers to compete with the flavored rums and vodkas gaining ground on the dance floor.

The new beer B(E) -- read as "B to the E power" -- will roll out in several phases starting in November.

Wankers. Read the rest of the article at http://money.cnn.com/2004/10/05/news/fo ... tm?cnn=yes

There is something inherently wrong with that. How does that Brewmaster keep his job, or can you even be called a brewmaster firing up that pony piss? I could do a better job in my spare time.

On the bright side, it will make it a bit easier to spot the tossers....

Further proof as to how f%&*ed the American alcohol market is right now.
To be fair, I doubt it was the brewmaster that was the impetus behind this. THis sounds like an idea that marketing came up with and the production side got dragged along. This isn't for beer drinkers, Its AB trying to grab a bit of the Red Bull and vodka drinkers money.
I love how in the press report it says its marketed at the young twenty-something market, even though this is clearly a product that will appeal to the 16-21 (underage) market.

and yeah, gregb, they might as well just put "TOOL" with a big arrow towards the drinker on the can.
