Gday ya can buy mine if you want. Its in the store section. I've made a number over the years. It depends what design your after. Copper is the best material in my opinion. Stainless steel makes the spirit taste weird I reckon if its used as part of the column but dosent seem to affect it if the boilers stainless. Dont soft solder joins its crap. Also most soft solder contains lead. Use whats called silver solder or more correctly silver braze at 7%silver. 7% is whats required by AS3500 for water services.
I know this because I am a plumber/gasftter drainer and work with copper every day. Silver brazing can take a while to get good at if you've never done anything like that before and at the price of copper these days, you wouldn't want to stuff up a braze and blow a hole threw the copper.

That's a thing of beauty.
I've bought some copper so I've commited myself to building one.

I might have to aquire a keg for the boiler some how.
