I put down my second brew about 3 months ago, it was the coopers mexican can.
I thought I'd try A coopers brew enhancer as well just to see if it made a difference.
Well I tried a bottle today and it has that much bubbles that i get about 95% head when I pour it into a glass.
it is so fizzy it's like drinking a can of coke.
Will it get better the longer i leave it?

I had the same problem with that beer, I thought it was becauase I used normal sugar in the bottles.

I've been using Coopers brewing sugar (a dextrose and maltodextrin mix (not sure of %) in all my other brews and it seams to be a fair bit lighter on the fizz.

it's crazy how bubbly it is, my first brew was fine but it was a simple coopers lager using brewing sugar.
the mexican tastes ok , but the bubbles overpower it.

What did you prime the bottles with? Carbonation drops?

2 per longneck?

Have any bottles exploded?

yeah did as the Can suggested and added 2 drops per large bottle( plastic bottles).
No explosions yet.
I can get 2 bottles for one glass of beer.
I even tried opening the bottles and waiting a bit to see if the bubbles die down before pouring,
but the beer goes warm before the bubbles stop.
still tastes good though hehehe

It sounds like it may have been bottled a little early. As a result, fermentation may have continued in the bottle giving you way too much gas in the finished product. I had this happen with a lager that I did a couple of years ago... and you certainly have my sympathy. Aerosol beer isn't exactly the best thing to try and drink.

Did you take any SG readings during fermentation or at bottling?

I had the feeling I might of bottled it a bit early or it got contaminated, but the bubbling had stopped and I checked the SG over 3 consecutive days and it remained the same so i thought it was ready to bottle.
the SG readings was
Before adding yeast 1050
before bottling 1012

The question I want to know is if I leave it longer will it get less gassy or will it just stay how it is?

Hmm... 1050 sounds a little high for an SG, but that could just be due to some undissolved malt sitting in the tap at the time of taking the OG.

Sometimes carbonation problems can sort themselves out over time... although, usually this is due to beer being stored too cold and not gassing up enough, whereas you seem to be having the opposite problem here. All I can suggest is that you leave the bottles in a cool place for a while to see if the situation improves. If all else fails, try serving the beer well-chilled, as CO2 is more soluble in cooler liquids than it is at room temperature.

I could be wrong about the 1050 my hydrometer is hard to read, I've been meaning to get a new one.
I do remember when I put the brew down the weather was really iffy, really hot days with cold nights.
I opened another bottle last night but this time I cracked the top and let it sit in the fridge for 10-15mins bubbling away,
It was 1/3 bubbly then if I had poured it straight away. still tastes ok .

Ahh well sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

I had the same problem with a Beermakers Draught,probably bottled to early.My local hb shop told me to add a splash of cold water in the bottom of my jug before i pour the beer in.It worked a treat!

I've had an interesting experience with over carbonation. The brew was put down in early summer and most of it was drunk over summer. Two bottles were put aside. Both were opened in late summer at two different locations and were found to be way too fizzy, much like what you describe. Yet the rest of the batch was perfect. In the end we came to the conclusion that those two bottles had experienced too much hot weather. Now, three months ago would be March... and depending on location, you could have had a similar experience with your whole batch.

I've also noted that bottles that are stored for 6 months or so are all quite carbonated.

It all may be a matter of temperature control and/or the amount of priming sugar that is used. I've had no problem carbonating bottles with 3/4 of the sugar that is recommended.

Some of my batches have shown carbonation signs within 3 days of bottling, whilst others struggle to get there over two weeks.
