Flame out?

What does flame out mean??
Iget the example below

20g Centennial @ 30 min
40g Amarillo @ 20 min
40g Amarillo @ 10 min

boil the hops for 30 mins
then another lot for 20 mins
then another lot for 10 mins

Then add to the fermentor....

But what does flame out mean???

It a hop addition you make when you take the pot/kettle off the boil - i.e. when you turn the flame/heat source off. This doesn't mean that these hops are just dunked in the wort. They stay in the pot with the other additions while the wort cools before transferring it to the fermenter. These hops are not boiled but the remaining heat does a good job of extracting the aromatic qualities of your hops.

Thanks for that.
so almost like dry hopping, kinda of. Just heating it for a few mins rather then boiling for a set time etc
