the only stand outs at the moment are the white rabbit dark ale and the stone beer. The rest are pretty standard.
Never tasted FREE beer I couldn't learn to like!

Have to say I've been enjoying the 5th Element in South Bank lately.
The Alpha Pale is pouring nicely, and Sierra nevada Pale is available in the bottlo.

I haven't made it out to the 5th Element but it definitely sounds like a goer. Being just down the road from the train station is encouraging too.

As for the platform, here are the latest taps:

S&W Ale
S&W Lager
Hoegaarden
JS Amber
JS Golden
Pipsqueak Cider
Duke Pale Ale
LC Rogers

5ifth Element is indeed nice with the Alpha and Franz Dunkel, and Jill is quite an attentive bartender!

I see Platform is standard, but they're having a special beer night tonight.

And three cheers for the return of the Brewhouse! Note - The Clarence Corner Brewhouse 2.0 is nothing like, or will likely never be like the Albert St original. Its an interesting culture clash between the craft beer drinkers and old-school XXXX gamblers. Time will tell, but I doubt I'll ever get my wife to go back there with me. She calls it a "dirty old man bar".

And the new Archive Beer Bar in West End (Boundary St, under the Uber) has good potential! The White Rabbit Dark ale is the notable tap beer, and the others are aimed at converting the industrial lagerists, but I hope they get a bit bolder in their tap selection. A nice range of bottles!
