I seem to be in a similar situation to Chadjaja and have only just gotten out of the situation that Bum's in.
I have psoriatic arthritis which flares up in my hip whenever it bloody well feels like it. It's awful to be 21 and need to walk with a cane for weeks on end because of arthritis. Bastard is flaring up right now and I keep cursing the day that we moved into a two-storey house.
I was
funemployed until this week. Spat the dummy at my last boss a couple of weeks ago because he's a massive prick and I decided I'd had enough of his abuse. Enjoyed some time off with brewing and the like then decided to go back on the job hunt. Had an interview on Monday, second-round interview on Tuesday and they had me start on Wednesday. I've never gotten a job so quickly before so I'm guessing I impressed the crap out of somebody. Enjoying my new job, too. It's only been three days and I'm still learning their systems, but they do keep the fridge fully stocked. Albeit with Corona, but it's nice to drink any kind of beer whilst you're still on the clock!
Incidentally, I've learned that beer is a wonderful remedy for my arthritis. Doesn't stop the pain so much as make me care about it less, which is still a win in my books. Guess I could say that my work is also providing me medical treatment in that case, right?
