When it comes to cricket, for all the talk, you'll find that you don't have to ask who won!

Hey Guys

Those poms are a laugh.
Who ever dreamed up this game was on the really strong ale all night.

Bizzare, silly and amusing.

Brother Munkey, considering your position as the forum's main (sole?) UK contributor, it is good for the rest of us to know that you can find something satisfying in this Test series.

Can we suspend all further discussion about the cricket until the Aussies start winning again?

It hurts....

Cheers,

Greg

At least the Ashes is worthwhile staying up for.

I was hoping the poms would make a game of it this time round.......but not too much of a game.

A bit of a decent competition is what the game needs in both countries.

Cheers,
Jay.

P.S. I think the match highlighted how reliant the Aussies still are on McGrath and Warne.

Great game.

Definitely proving our over reliance on McGrath and Warne.
I'd go as far to say, if McGrath hadn't stepped on that ball.
We'd be up 2-0.

Well done to the Poms.

Game on at Old Trafford.

OR, if Ponting had made the right call from the toss - we should have batted first - we would be up 2-0.

Great game though.

Ahhh... I say hats off to the Poms. It's about time cricket became a sport and not an exhibition. I think it's great for the sport that someone else wins every now and then. That's not to say I don't wanna see the boys absolutely smash Freddie all over the shop next test.

...and is "Freddy" the new "Beefy" ? God I hope not. Like we need another one of them.

Hey munkey.
How many chickens do you have there? What's that? Oh I see, you can't count them because they haven't hatched yet...

cheers munkey, i think looking at last night's efforts that your boys have been reading up on how to play the game!! Obviously not using an outcomes based approach then! (sorry to divert, just a reference to debate here on educational ideology, fueled by a federal minister with no f%*(ing idea)

Hopefully things will level out but at least it might be a contest this time.

So no change from normal then?
