why dont you pry the seal off with a screwdriver as you are untwisting the lid... easy... i think they even put a lip on the bottle to act as an edge to put pressure between the screwddriver and the bottle.
We used to do that at school... buy a bottle of coke, pry the lid off with the seal, drink half of it, fill it back up with water, then take it back and ask for something different like fanta or lift.

I have been busy of late and missed this great opportuntiy for a sledge bugger......my main computer carked it and then my Laptop recharger died. ......Back on track now though.
I bet Peter Costello has ordered a new ring since he's been screwed by Little Johnny over the years.......that'll do til I come up with something better, maybe about Oxford Street. 'Tis topical ATM.
