Angry Emoticons

Post by hirns »

Is anyone else experiencing or have experienced a problem with using the Smilies or emoticons as of late. Perhaps someone else has experienced this of late. I've only noticed it in the last two weeks. Here is an example of posting one directly outside of the period or full stop. :D

Not funn :D y! Crap the first one actually worked and then I tried a second time :D . Third time lucky again. I tried in one post to make three spaces after the full stop to see if it moved the smilie forward, but this was to no avai :x l. Bloody hell. I'm using the new Explorer Betta 9 and thought that that was the problem, so I opened Firefox and went back in to edit. :? ..Same thing. I like to be able to edit my posts correctly, so I find this annoyi  ng.

Rotten, I understand that much (and I'm yet to have a beer tonight) and I'm very computer literate. I've done as you have said, it's so simple, however in the last two weeks something as gone pear shape with this process (at least) for me.

Cheer

Just for the record I haven't had a beer either. Been bottling my Californian Common or Steem Beer, too busy to drink much nowadays.
Cheers
