Which teams will contest the AFL grand final?

Post by Oliver »

There are four teams left in the competition.

This weekend's winners will meet the following Saturday in the Australian Football League grand final.

Who do you think will be there?

Oliver

PS Go Crows!

I have a feeling that the Saints will be there with the hopes of the entire VFL crowd behind them.

I'd like to see Swanies triumph over a gallant Crows defense. But I dont have the cash to bribe everyone who needs to be bribed.

Cheers,

Greg.

Now Dogger,

Eagles supporters are well known as chardonnay sipping whingers with a fierce dislike of any other club. Are you sure you want in with that crowd??

see that just doesn't work for me Dogger, Dockers and Eagles both from Perth, you can only support one! I'm strictly a Freo Dockers man myself, they may be inconsistent but a much better option than the other mob!

Just like Port and CRows in Adelaide, it's a one or the other option.

You make your choice and then stick with it, through good and bad!

I think it is a marvellous year: four teams left and only one of them Victorian! If only the Lions or Port Power could have kept up their form of recent years, we might have the sight of two non-Vic teams battling it out for the World Series of Aussie Rules at the MCG. Of course, we still might. Worth turning briefly back to God for this one.

Attached is a quote from an email I got this morning from someone who must remain anonymous, but whom I was led to believe was a bit of a beer buff:
Saturday will be consumed by football. The mighty Crows are playing on Saturday for a place in the Grand Final, so will be heading to a friend's place to watch the game. So unfortunately Goat is out of the question (although I will be having a beer or two while watching the match!).
sigh...missing the Goat's birthday bash to watch men in shorts run round in the mud. On TV.
Salut!

To me, it's Rugby, then Aussie Rules, then WAY down the bottom of the food chain is League.

(and soccer is not worth mentioning)

As opposed to a team that wears purple...

oh, and green...

and some red...

and white...

Sorry, what exactly are Freo's colours again? I just keep seeing a swirly mess.
