Post by lucky »

When beer is Overcarbonated does it poor as froth
and when settled does the beer taste flat.

i have read the post a few down and am trying to elimante
all the issues. the line seems clear, i have adjusted pouring
pressure.

just wondering if it is overcarbonated and hence frothy crap,
but aint sure why it tastes flat briefly after settling.

any help please!!! i am going mad trying to sort this out...

Cheers.

Are you using a fridge tap? Maybe try letting a bit of beer out to cool the tap?
I had the same problem but am out of beer now so cant really test more :P
Try keeping pressure at 70kpa or so?

Or you could try something weird I did, open the lid of the keg and pour some out there and see if its carbonated :P

yeah am using a fridge tap. its as cold as.. i have already poured
about half a bucket.. have tried 70kpa

pouring some out aint a bad idea, will give that a go.

is it common for overcarbonated beer to pour as froth and
settle flat?

thanks.
